Container Bridge Philippines, Inc. (CBPi) participated in the Samudera Agency Meeting held on September 21–22 at the Carlton Hotel Singapore, bringing together agency representatives of Samudera Shipping Line Ltd. from several countries to discuss market developments, operational performance, and opportunities for regional collaboration.
Representing CBPi at the meeting were Group Chairman Mr. Norman Fulgencio, President & CEO Mr. Patrick Ronas, and Mr. Ricky Gochingco.

As part of the program, Mr. Ronas delivered a presentation highlighting the Philippine market’s year-to-date performance, including cargo volume trends, import and export market growth, Samudera Shipping Line’s market share, and the company’s action plans moving forward. He also discussed operational challenges encountered in 2026, emerging developments affecting the shipping industry — including terminal operations, market conditions, political developments, and competition — and identified opportunities for future service expansion and business development within the Samudera network.
The presentation was followed by an interactive question-and-answer session, providing agency representatives from across the region an opportunity to exchange perspectives and discuss shared opportunities and challenges.
